Terra sigillata & colloidal slip classes
With this course you will acquire knowledge about the elaboration, characteristics, and handling of Sigillata Earthenware and Decanted Engobes, and its subsequent development in some decorative techniques.
Terra Sigillata course 450€
This course lasts 5 days and is given in my workshop located in the town of Albelda, province of Huesca. There is accommodation for those who choose to stay overnight in the town. Check availability and conditions.

Course location
The course will take place in my workshop, the place where I make my pieces: Calle Cami De La Creu, 5, Albelda.22558 province of Huesca.
Here you will find light and work environment. The ideal place to work and train yourself. You will have enough space to investigate, relax and learn how to use the terras sigillatas.
Accommodation
You have the possibility to book accommodation to spend the night in Albelda during the course for an extra amount per overnight stay. I have an independent apartment close to the place where the training will take place. Places are limited and the reservation will be subject to availability.
In the accommodation you will find everything you need during your stay. A total capacity of 5 people is available, the place will be shared among interested students.
Single and double rooms are available. The price per night for single rooms is 40€, while the price per night and bed for double rooms is 30€. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
Course program
- Working and decanting commercial and local clays, (Terra Sigillata)
- Coloring with oxides, industrial pigments and solubles salts, (sample)
- Knowledge of the surfaces in the functional ceramic,and, the pice of use, and sculpture (firing medium temperatura 1160º)
- Decorative techniques, stencils, brush, resist, and airbrush

The course of terras sigillatas and engobes has a price of 450€.This price gives you access to all the materials and other tools necessary to carry it out.

+-How long will it last and in what modality will it be taught?
It will be carried out in classroom mode in the town of Albelda, Huesca. It will last 5 days with an average of 7 to 8 hours per day.
+-How can I make a reservation?

In my workshop in the town of Albelda, province of Huesca. It is located half an hour by car from Lleida or about 1 hour from Huesca.

I move very often to other workshops both in Spain and abroad to teach this or other courses. I have worked for city councils, art schools, associations... About me
My name is Miguel Molet and I have been working in ceramics for more than 30 years.I work both in the production and manufacture of pieces and of course in the formative part as a teacher. During these years I have been able to specialize in different techniques, among which is the use of terras sigillatas.
When I am not traveling to give courses in other workshops or town halls, my day to day life is spent in the town of Albelda (province of Huesca). This is where I work and where I find myself researching, learning and making my own ceramic pieces. In this same space is where I receive all the lovers of this art that decide to visit me from any corner of the world.
With these courses I try to give you the opportunity to acquire new skills, new ceramic knowledge and allow you to improve your technique in various modalities and disciplines.
